Quince offers its space for private parties and group events of all kinds, including friendly gatherings, formal events, wedding or baby showers, receptions, luncheons and brunches, graduation celebrations, wine club dinners, wine tastings, Northwestern faculty and staff entertaining, corporate recruiting for Northwestern students, tea parties, cocktail parties, and whatever else meets your needs.

You may use any combination of our five spaces for your private event. Information on each space is below.

Quince's main dining room offers spacious fireside dining, with comfy banquette seating along two walls and free-standing tables in the center of the room. There is extra space for a gift table or even a musician. The room can hold up to 54 people.

Quince's smaller room is known as the "terrace" or the "garden room." Its cozy interior is perfect for smaller groups, up to 28 people, seated at either one large table or in two or three smaller groups. This room also provides banquette seating as well as room for a free-standing table and a gift table. The room can hold up to 28 people.

If your group size is 16 people or fewer, then Quince can host your private event in the Library, our smallest and most intimate room. Adorned with cherrywood bookcases, the Library offers an elegant setting to enjoy chef Mark Hannon's contemporary cuisine.

The "salon" is the most casual of Quince's rooms. Its two large, bar-height tables offer the opportunity for a casual sit-down dinner, while the room's larger size makes it useful for standing events with passed appetizers and cocktails. This room is often used as a reception area before sitting down for dinner in the main dining room or the terrace. The room can hold up to 24 people seated or 45 people standing.

Quince offers outdoor dining when weather permits. If you are interested in using our outdoor space for your private event, please follow the contact directions below for more information.

Quince is fortunate to have one of Chicago area's few "kitchen tables," which offers up to 5 people the opportunity to enjoy a special tasting menu and watch it be prepared by Quince's talented kitchen staff. Chef Mark Hannon offers kitchen-table guests a special six-course menu at $85 or a nine-course menu for $110. As with all of Quince's a la carte and tasting menu selections, expert wine pairings are available as well.
